Tapbase is a local database app. The bases, records, schemas, photos, and NFC tag links you create are stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced through your own private iCloud database using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit. This data is controlled by you and your Apple ID.
Nothing. The developer of Tapbase operates no servers and has no access to your data, your iCloud content, or your usage. Tapbase contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.
If you enable iCloud, your Tapbase data syncs across your devices via Apple's infrastructure under your Apple ID. That sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of Tapbase cannot see or access that data.
Photos you attach to records are stored inside the app's own storage (and synced via your private iCloud database). If you choose to enable the optional "export to Photos album" feature, Tapbase will request permission and save copies into your Photos library; this is optional and off by default.
Tapbase reads and writes NFC tags only when you initiate a scan or write. Tag links contain a random identifier that references a record in your own database โ no personal information is written to a tag.
Tapbase offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Tapbase Pro) processed by Apple. Apple handles the transaction; the developer does not receive your payment details. Purchase status is managed through your Apple ID.
Tapbase is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone โ because it collects no data at all.
